Les conseils de prud’hommes statuent en dernier ressort lorsque le montant du litige n’excède pas :
– 4 000 € pour les instances introduites devant eux entre le 1er octobre 2005 et le 31 août 2020 ;
– 5 000 € pour les instances introduites devant eux à compter du 1er septembre 2020.
À noter : les décisions rendues en dernier ressort ne peuvent pas être contestées devant une cour d’appel, seul un pourvoi devant la Cour de cassation étant possible.
